Spend a relaxing time without electric light, electricity and central heating. Instead, experience the wonderful atmosphere with romantic candlelight, furniture from the old days, creaking floorboards and wash bowls with fresh mountain water.
Built in 1875 as a guesthouse, the Berghaus Sulzfluh has retained its original character. It is a real feast for the eyes of the nostalgic. Petroleum lamps light up the guest room in the main house and a wood-burning stove provides a cosy warmth. There are candles on the bedside tables in the guest rooms and extra blankets and hot water bottles for winter temperatures.
Larger groups or minimalists will feel at home in our beautiful “mattress dormitories”, while guests who are not used to the pure hut ambience will feel at home in our modern double rooms with private bathroom.
Just above St. Antönien, the Berghaus Sulzfluh is located on the beautiful Alp Partnun and offers you a great starting point for any activity. Whether for hiking, climbing, mountaineering, skiing tours or simply to relax. Lake Partnun (30 min.) is refreshing in summer and the small rowing boats are fun for the children. In winter, in addition to the great ski and snowshoe tours, you can also practice in the avalanche search field or try out the ice climbing tower. For relaxation after a strenuous day, sauna and hot tub can be booked as well.
In our guest lounge, the fireplace invites you to linger and the soft light of the petroleum lamps flickers over the tables. Here we serve our freshly prepared menus, for which we place great value on regionality.

When choosing products, we pay attention to their origin and source them from local farmers whenever possible. Fine dishes are created from them on our wood and gas cooker. This way we can always offer our guests high-quality products.
