Amidst the houses on the “Platz”, the village centre of the Walser settlement, stands St. Antönien’s oldest inn – the Hotel Rhätia. Our historic Walser house holds a mixture of rustic natural wood furniture like a hundred years ago and contemporary interior design. In our beds you sleep like “Mungga” (marmots) and if you are looking for a quiet place during the day, you will find it in the Stübli, the oldest part of the house (approx. 300 years old).
If you are returning from a tour in the mountains, you can take a seat on our sunny terrace and reflect on the tour – with a piece of cake and a wonderful view of the hilly side of the Prättigau.
If you are looking for a quiet place during the day, you will find it in the “Stübli”(living room), the oldest part of the house (approx. 300 years old). On rainy days, our house library offers interesting reading from almost every genre, and on forays through the house there are many objects from the everyday life of the Walsers from then to now to discover.
