Getting here by train and bus

Lungiarü is easily accessible by public transport.

North/South: When coming from Brenner or Bozen by train, change at Franzensfeste and continue the onward journey with the Pustertal train (line 400) towards Innichen. Get off at St. Lorenzen and take bus 460 towards Corvara. Then get off at the St. Martin in Thurn junction and take bus 464 towards Lungiarü/ Antermёia.

East: Via Lienz with the Pustertal train (line 400) to St. Lorenzen. Get off here and take bus 460 towards Corvara. Get off at the St. Martin in Thurn junctions and take bus 464 to Lungiarü.

Important note: 2025 closures on the Val Pusteria railway line / replacement bus services

There will be several closures of the railway line in Val Pusteria/Pustertal in 2025. Current closures are listed in detail on the südtirolmobil website.

Of particular note is the closure of the Val Pusteria/Pustertal railway line in the route Franzensfeste/Fortezza – Bruneck/Brunico until 13 December 2025:

If you are travelling from Bolzano or Brennero/Brenner, it is only possible to change to the B400 replacement bus service at Brixen/Bressanone station. Buses on line 401 Brixen-Bruneck can also be used.
