The small Ramudla ski lift was installed at the Glieshöfen farms by a Matsch native with great foresight at the end of the 1970s, and is always a hit with children. The ski lift is also suitable for beginner and expert skiers. It is very easy-going: the lift workers are volunteers who always have time for a chat, and you never lose sight of the kids.
There are also excellent sledging spots in Matsch: A toboggan run leads along the forest road from the Matscher Alm alpine pasture and hut to the Glieshöfen farms.
On the Matscher Alm, an ice tower also emerges every winter in frosty temperatures, providing a great opportunity to try your hand at ice climbing.
