Public Transport

Ramsau b. Berchtesgaden can be reached by public transport (train + bus) via Freilassing or Salzburg.

• Every hour the bus 840 leaves Salzburg main station to Berchtesgaen (45 minutes). From Berchtesgaden take the Bus 846 to Ramsau (15 minutes)
• If you are coming from Munich, you can take the train to Berchtesgaden via Freilassing.

By Car

Coming from the north, take the Autobahn A8 München-Salzburg. At the turn off Traunstein/Siegsdorf continue on the B 305 via Inzell, Weißbach, Schneizlreuth to Ramsau.

If you are coming from the south, take the Austrian autobahn A1 – turn off at the exit Salzburg Süd/Grödig. Continue to Berchtesgaden and Ramsau.
